Shagbark Hickory Bowl, No. h230
So, I turned this bowl on August 31, '07 and it looked great.
As it was drying a crack developed near the top opening. I felt bad because it is a great looking bowl with distinct color
contrasts. I repaired the crack and waited. I've waited 2 years and it remains perfectly intact ! Why do I offer this
bowl ? Because it is a great looking wood bowl and the crack, having been visually evaluated by numerous people say
that it adds a bit of character to the bowl and it looks like it was just part of the bowl. So, I am offering this for
sale knowing full well that most people would not want it but it is so rich in quality and character that I know there
is someone out there wanting this bowl in their lifestyle. Hope to hear from you !
